As members of People, Words & Change all volunteers and learners are welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting which is normally held mid-June in the PWC office at Heartwood House. In addition to being a social event, we report on the highlights of the year and present the audited financial statements for approval. Any member may nominate candidates for the board, and all have a vote at the meeting.
Board of Directors
Our board of directors consists of 8 -10 members elected at our Annual General Meeting in June. The board in turn elects its own executive members, and appoints a treasurer. The board meets about five times a year, and is responsible for the legal and financial aspects of running a nonprofit organization. Volunteers interested in becoming board members can contact Chris, who will put them in touch with one of the directors for further information.
