Volunteer Appreciation Event – April 10th, 2014

April 10, 2014 by People, Words & Change

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you was the theme of this year’s Volunteer Appreciation Event, held on April 10. More than twenty-five PWC volunteers were treated to a delightful evening of storytelling, yummy nibbles and desserts, and, best of all, everyone went home with a gift donated by Ottawa people, businesses and services. A special certificate was presented to our volunteer Peter N. Roberts for his generous donation towards the establishment of the Peter N. Roberts Tutoring Room.

PWC is grateful to the people, businesses and services listed at the left who generously donated gift cards and specialty items.

We also wish to thank Culinary Conspiracy, Farm Boy, FreshCo, Loblaws Vanier, and Walmart Trainyards for providing us with a wide assortment of delicious refreshments.
