Volunteer Appreciation Event – April 10, 2019

April 16, 2019 by PWCUpdates

PWC celebrated another successful Volunteer Appreciation Event during National Volunteer Week. This event is our opportunity to thank our volunteers for their dedication to making a real difference in the lives of so many. Our tutors meet with their learners on a weekly basis and help them upgrade their basic reading, writing, math or computer skills as they work toward their goals. With the generous support of local businesses, each tutor had a gift to take home , as well as sweet and savoury snacks to enjoy at the event. Ottawa band Natural Keys (Josh Olszynko and Ned Pitt) provided a relaxing and fun atmosphere with their reggae music. Thank you to our tutors! Thank you to our sponsors! Thank you to Natural Keys! We have a great community in Ottawa and PWC is very proud to be a part of it!
