Volunteer Appreciation Event – April 14th, 2015

April 14, 2015 by People, Words & Change

PWC’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Event didn’t disappoint. Many of our dedicated volunteers were on hand to receive our heartfelt thanks for the work they do throughout the year, tutoring PWC’s learners in basic reading, writing, math and/or computer skills. Thanks to the support of our very generous sponsors, we enjoyed a fantastic array of savoury snacks and sweet treats, and each of our tutors went home with a gift certificate or item as a token of our appreciation.

Laurence Wall, CBC Radio’s News Producer, thoroughly delighted us with stories of the early and current days of CBC Radio.
